16.1hh Dark Brown British Sport Horse Stallion - Approved SHB(GB) & BWBS
Jigilo is a new addition to the WKS lineup in 2022. He has just returned to the UK, having spent the last few seasons in the South of France.
He is a son of the legendary Jumbo, who was a versatile athlete in his own right and has sired an incredible string of event horse, most notably Lucinda Fredericks' Headley Britannia (Winner of CCI5*'s at Badminton, Burghley and Kentucky) and Andrew Nicholson's Avebury (three time winner of Burghley CCI5* along with endless further top placings).
Jigilo is a proven competition horse in his own right, having competed up to Advanced and CCI4* eventing before retiring to stud. One of his eldest progeny, True Blue Too won the CCI4*-L at Blair Castle in 2021 with rider Rosie Fry and is now aiming for his first 5* event at Badminton this spring.
Jigilo is a traditionally bred stallion, carrying 75% thoroughbred blood, along with 25% Irish Draught from his very well-proven grandsire Skippy. These bloodlines have been proven time and time again to produce tough, sound performers with stamina and gallop.
