Catherston Oakley has a wonderful temperament, superb confirmation and expressive paces.
His pedigree boasts great performance throughout. Wellingtonia was on the British Junior Event Squad in 1983. Dutch Courage was a top International Grand Prix Dressage horse, as well as a hugely prolific sire. Dutch Gold won numerous World Cup Dressage Qualifiers and competed at the Olympics in 1988. Fleetwater Opposition won the Junior Eventing Europeans before going on to be an International Grand Prix Dressage horse. Dutch Bombshell won in the show ring, and was also a dressage horse and Individual and Team Vaulting horse. A varied and successful pedigree!
Oakley has competed up to Intermediate level eventing, with many wins and placings along the way. He also qualified for the dressage nationals in 2023. Oakley’s first progeny were born in 2021 and have impressed owners and judges alike. Four foals from his first crop were awarded gold premiums at the Futurity.
